Theses shoes do look great and the leather is better quality than expected. I wear a size 10.5 and the size 11 fit nearly perfect. They did start having an annoying crackling sound when walking like stepping on bubble wrap after a few hours of wearing. Although difficult to get your hands inside I discovered it was the insole not being glued to the bottom of the shoe near the ball of the foot were your toes bend. It's made of some hard honeycomb rubber that rubs the bottom of the shoe making the noise. I cut strips of craft leather, the kind you find at Hobby Lobby in squares for leather projects, and pushed it smooth side down between the bottom of the insole and the bottom of the shoe. A very difficult task with large fingers since you have to lift up on the insole and slide the leather in with the same hand. I couldn't remove the insole to make this job easier since the glue they used just wouldn't let loose on the heal and the toe. Ultimately, this stopped the noise and now they're quite as a mouse. If it wasn't for this lack of proper gluing they would be perfect.
