What I did was slip in 3/4 inserts instead that had no padding for the toes and now these shoes fit and feel like a charm. I've worn these for 5 hours sitting and standing and my feet are fine. I'm size 8 1/2 and the 9 fits very well even when I put in my inserts. I would recommend these to all shorties since $66 isn't a bad price to pay for confidence which is priceless.
The high-top design is perfect for hiding the height increase because it limits the view of my ankles when people see me in shorts. More ankle = obvious lifts.
There's enough room for heel insoles to add more height and comfort.
I'm 5'7" and these babies put me at 5'10".
The lift rivals my New Rock boots that are a solid 3 inches.
The shoes are pretty durable and comfortable for now. Only time would tell if it holds up after 6 months.
The shoe design is pretty cool, some people thought they were chuck taylors! Quite stylish. Plus the lift is very discreet.
The high-top design makes it hard to easily slip in and out of the shoe if the laces are on tight. The workaround to this issue is to completely loosen the laces and just tighten the very top part of the shoe in a knot.
The lift causes your feet to press forward towards the toe area so it may be uncomfortable for people sensitive to added pressure on the ball of your feet and toes.
